What is UX/UI design?
UX/UI design is the combination of two disciplines that work together to create digital products (apps, websites, software) that are useful, easy to use, and visually appealing.
In the UX (User Experience) part, the designer focuses on how a person feels when using a product.
The goal is to make everything intuitive, logical, and smooth.
This part includes:
– User research
– Information architecture
– Experience maps (journey maps)
– Wireframes (functional sketches)
– User testing
– Flow and usability optimization
On the other hand, the UI (User Interface) part
is the visual side.
It defines how the product looks: colors, typography, buttons, icons, spacing, overall style…
It includes:
– Visual design
– Design systems
– Components such as buttons, forms, cards…
– High-fidelity prototypes
– Animations and micro-interactions
In other words, its goal is to make the interface beautiful, clear, modern, and consistent.
So, in summary: UX + UI = a product that works well and looks good.
